SOUND FAMILIAR?

You know the anatomy.
You know the physiology.
You have a
shit ton of exercises.

And sometimes, none of them work.

You’re good at what you do. You’ve studied, practiced, and invested in your teaching. And still, there are moments when the right exercise doesn’t seem to reach the person in front of you.

— They understand the cue. Their body can’t access it.

— It worked last week. Today, it’s gone.

— They can make the sound alone, but not when witnessed.

— The same technical issue keeps coming back.

— They’re trying harder— and becoming less available to learning.

What if the missing piece isn’t another exercise?

What if the missing piece isn’t another exercise?

CONNECTION. SAFETY, AUTHENTIC EXPRESSION.

Singing is never purely mechanical.

Every sound happens inside a body, a nervous system, a relationship, an environment, and a moment.

A singer can understand exactly what you're asking and still not have access to it. They can make the sound alone and lose it when they're witnessed. They can have all the technical ability in the world and still not feel free enough to fully express themselves.

This is where Somatic Vocal Coaching comes in.

It gives us a framework for working with the whole person in front of us, so we're not only asking What is the voice doing? but What is happening in the human being who's doing it?

Our job isn't to manufacture authenticity for our singers. It's to create the conditions for curiosity, agency, connection, and safety so they can discover what is actually theirs.

This is for the voice professional
who knows there’s
another layer.

You already have technical knowledge. You want a more integrated way to apply it—one that helps you understand the person doing the exercise, as well as the exercise itself.

THE SIX MONTH LEARNING ARC

From noticing more
to teaching differently.

‍ ‍02

PHASE II

The Embodied Voice

Bring the framework into alignment, breath, coordination, resonance, movement, and touch.

‍ ‍03

PHASE III

Immersion & Certification

Come together in person to integrate the work, practice teaching, and complete certification assessments.

01

PHASE I

Foundations of Safety

Build the foundation for a learning relationship where curiosity, agency, and experimentation can take root.

Three phases. A framework you experience, practice, and bring into your own teaching.

Deeper into curriculm (confirm what we would like to keep, or they can download?)

WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY LEAVE WITH:

A wider lens.
A more discerning practice.

You’ll practice ways to meet the complexity of a voice lesson with greater curiosity and choice.

See beyond the mechanics.

Recognize when a challenge may also involve nervous-system state, protective patterns, environment, relationship, or learning conditions.

Help knowledge become embodied.

Adapt familiar tools through a somatic lens: alignment, breath, vocal fold mechanics, resonance, movement, and touch.

Notice yourself, too.

Recognize your own responses as a practitioner, including the transference and counter-transference dynamics addressed in the training.

Create conditions for learning.

Bring greater relational and environmental safety into voice education, with clear boundaries around your role as a coach.

Make room for discovery.

Use observation, open-ended questions, consent, play, and experimentation more intentionally. Scaffold new coordination through motor learning.

Support the student’s agency.

Help singers build self-trust and a more embodied relationship with their voices. Integrate the framework into the pedagogy you already know.

What to know about the training, completion, and certification.

CrystalVoice Studio · Somatic Vocal Coaching

Teach the
whole singer.

Their anatomy matters.
Their technique matters.
Their nervous system matters.
Their relationship with you matters.
Their relationship with themselves matters.

The future of voice training asks us to see all of it.
